“More Articles” links? (PHP tag question)

I’ve poked around the support docs, but can’t find what I need. Maybe you can help?

I’m looking to have 1 post show on the category page (which I’ve set to 1 post in the reading settings), and then have maybe the previous 5 post’s LINKS show underneath that newest post. It’d look like:

Title to newest story in category
Story Text

Link to second story
Link to third story
Link to fourth story…etc.

I’ve got the newest story showing, but is there an easy way to show X amount of previous story titles only?

(I’d also like to have a page where it’s basically an archive for the category, but all stories in the category show instead of the newest/links to the rest deal like above. Also possible with some page settings?)
