Unless we know exactly what is happening, it’s quite hard to figure out how to help you solve the issue.
If you’re not getting any formatting, try changing the Calendar Theme to a different one and then switching it back. This should force the theme files and the CSS to be used, which can be the cause of issues the first time the plugin is used.
