I figured it out. It works okay if the login to the social account is happening in the same window. However if you set it to a popup then you face issues while logging in from the mobile
Yes Authentication display Should be in Page. Found that issue even on desktop browsers
in widget settings go to Widget display and there select do not display widget anywhere. And then add the short code or php code where you want the login to come up.
After the update the mobile login seems to be broken even without popups. It does not redirect to the website. I just get a notification which says close the tab to go back to “example.com”. Its working fine on the laptop.
