Mistaken URL when WordPress in subfolder

    Hi Hristo & Co,

    I noticed something with the latest update of The SG CachePress plugin, which seems like a bug:

    On our main site, we have WordPress installed in a subfolder, called ‘cms’ and our URLs are setup as follows:

    Of course, we want to cache pages based on the Site Address, not the WordPress address as it never shows in front-facing page URLs. But, when I updated today, I now see a notice like this:

    Your site https://domain.com/cms is not cached! Make sure the Dynamic Cache is enabled in the SuperCacher tool in cPanel.

    Do you see the issue?

    Same issue here. Were you able to find a fix? I alerted their support staff of this thread and hope they come up with an update.

    Hey GrindPress,

    I think I’ve found a solution to the problem and I’ve reported it to SiteGround.

    The issue seems to be that the plugin is using get_site_url, rather than get_home_url for display and checking cache status.

    Hopefully, it’ll be fixed in the next release.

    may i know the exact steps needed to make the plugin work? i tried to replace all get_site_url with get_home_url but it didn’t seem to work. appreciate your kind advise please 🙂

    Any news on this? From what I can see, it’s definitely an issue with get_site_url vs get_home_url

    And in 2.4.6 which will be released in few hours the whole thing got further improved so no such issues should occur.
