Missing some translation

    Hi there,

    I noticed that some of the plugin isn’t translated in my language (namely, French). Obviously, that makes for a suboptimal experience, for visitors and admins alike (some of the untranslated content is backend stuff).

    Do you plan to update the translations in the future? If so, when?

    If you don’t plan to work on it, or if the date is far in the future, let me know if you’d like help, I can perhaps carve out some time for it.

    I notice that there are a lot of translations (438 actually, and from my quick review they are good) that are “Waiting” in the “Development (trunk)” for French. Reading through the docs, it seems like a Translation Editor needs to wave them in for deployment. How can we make this happen?

    I could translate locally, but from what I can tell using Poedit, I would need to start over and/or copy-paste stuff from the existing PO file – which seems sub-optimal, obviously…

    I’m happy to contribute anything to the project one way or another, I’d just like to avoid duplicating the work 🙂

    Unfortunately we have no control over the languages and their communities 🙁 You will have to find out directly from the French group yourself. I am involved with the Spanish community and they are great people. When I submit a translation, the Spanish editors are very quick to check and approve or correct any of my errors.
