Missing event editor formatting tools

I don’t have a tool in my EM event editor to change text color for my events. I’ve seen screenshots on EM’s support site of the editor showing a second toolbar row where that text color tool is, but I don’t have the row. I inspected the toolbar and found that a stylesheet is setting the second row to display:none. Not sure why that is and how to fix it other than put my own CSS in to override that. The stylesheet creating the problem is skin.min.css. Does anyone know anything about this?
