Something very strange, I have WP 2.7.1 installed on two different laptop.
On my old laptop, when I try to add a new post, the pages comes up and there are two lines of formatting button available to write the post, the lower line included the buttons “Format”, “Underline”, “Select text color”, “Paste as plain text”, “Paste from Word” and so on …..

On my new laptop, I have just installed the same 2.7.1 version and when I try to add a new post, only one line of formatting buttons is shown to write the post, so I am missing the second line with some useful buttons ?
Any explanation for that ? Anybody else out there with the same problem ? Is there anything I need to change in the setting to have the full sent of buttons ?

Thanks in advance for your help guys, appreciate it

    1. What do you mean installed on a laptop? WordPress is based on a server, so it will be available on any computer connected to the internet.

    2. The second line of options (AKA the Kitchen Sink) is available by pressing Alt + Shift + Z whilst your cursor is in the text box, or by pressing the button two to the right of the ABC button. It’s icon shows three lines of coloured boxes.

Hope I have been some help.

Thanks Kenneth, very useful indeed …. Alt + Shift + Z sorted the problem, didn’t know the last button on the right (Kitchen Sink) was the solution, much appreciated.
