I originally migrated my followers from ruggedwriting.wordpress.com to ruggedwritings.com to have all my followers to be on both. I realized that when I first migrated, all of my followers went missing on the wordpress site and only showed up on my self-hosted site. Is there a way to put my followers back on my wordpress.com site?

  • You’d have to ask JetPack about that –

BTW, are you planning to keep both sites active? Be aware that Search engines will penalize duplicate content – if that’s at all relevant to you :)!

Thank you for the quick response. I’ve moved my post to the other forum.

I had the same content on both sites, but I think I might just leave it on wordpress.com instead of both. Is this a way to correct duplication?

If you have two live sites accessible on the internet with duplicate content, Google may not like that. But you’d get the best advice on that on Google Webmaster Tools site.
