• Quick question- How do I edit individual page headers, title, description and keyword metatags? I have the meta tags for my front page, but it applies them globally to all pages- would like to have seperate tags for individual pages to make them more search engine applicable.

hey thanks folks- I’ll check those out tonight- gonna have to shut down for a bit- wicked thinder/lightening storm goingo n – I am using a meta tag generator plugin- but like i said, it onbly does just the global for all pages. anyways- thanks I’ll check em out

Is it allowed to have 2 metatag=keyword lines in the header? Or will that make search engines angry, or upset the validator?

I’m asking because I had put metatags in my Header by-hand, so it’s the same on all the pages. But I recently decided to try one of these metatag-plugins, and it puts ANOTHER keywords line in my header. On posts where I’ve used the new plugin, my source code shows 2 separate lines of keywords…. on posts where I have not used the plugin to generate keywords, it shows only the keywords I had added by hand. This behavior seems good because I have 100’s of posts from before I got the plugin, and I want them to retain the old manual keywords, but concerned about the duplication in new posts that use the plugin.
