• I have display on for Date and Category in single post customization, but posts don’t display it. I have tried using both Default and No sidebar templates, disabled all plugins, and added the following code to css, but nothing has worked. It makes no difference whether I create the post with Elementor or the classic editor. Thanks for any help.

    /* Blog edits */

    .post__meta .post-date {
    display: inline !important;
    }
    .post__meta .post-categories {
    display: inline !important;
    }

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @daviddanaan,

    You might be missing the setting for corresponding post data in Customize > Blog > Single Posts > Meta Elements?

    No, that is the setting where I have Post date and Post categories toggled on. The ‘eye’ icon is active for just those two meta elements.

    Hi @daviddanaan,

    Try switching your meta position option to other one, save, and switch back to the first one, and save. https://i.snipboard.io/mAZgBv.jpg

    Then clear cache, and reload your post page. See how it resolves your issue.

    I cleared my browser cache and it didn’t help. I don’t have any caching plugins installed. Is there any other cache that could be causing the issue?

    Hi @daviddanaan,

    I am wondering there might be one or some theme’s files have changed. To verify this, can you try reinstalling the theme?

    I reinstalled the theme, and now the header options are completely different. I had my header image as the background for the site identity content and menu, and now the image is below the content and I don’t see a layout setting for restoring it the way it was. The meta still doesn’t appear. I want my site back the way it was.

    I restored the previous theme version from backup, but the header is still the new version. I don’t see a way to make 1) the header image as background for the header itself, not appear below it; 2) the site title appear on one line across the header, not stacked. I can make the header transparent but can’t figure out how to layer it over the image. I don’t understand why restoring the entire theme version from my backup didn’t restore the header configuration. Please help me undo this mess.
