My problem was solved immediately after upgrading WordPress to version 4.9.8
@shanthini Can you please confirm whether you are using WPML? There is a bug that is caused by using WMPL but was resolved with the release of WPML version 4.1.
@domashich There is also a bug reported causing this issue when using WordPress version 4.8. This has been reported to our developers here and there will be a fix in the 9.3 release of the plugin. If you are using WordPress version 4.8 you can also resolve this by upgrading to WordPress version 4.9.8
