    Hi-

I’m new to WordPress.org having switched from WordPress.com and need some help with placing media images. In the past, when adding media to a text page, the text would land at the top of the image. Now it lands starting on the bottom of the image and doesn’t conform with the rest of my (already in use) static page. How might I get the picture media to sit differently on the page? I’ve attached a link for you to see: please look at the difference between South Asian International and Puppets on Film.

Thanks so much for your help!

  • You need to chose an alignment (left, right, centre or none) in the Add Media pane after you have selected an image and before you have inserted it into a page or post.

Thank you esmi. I have done that already, but it’s not where the picture lands on the page, it’s where the verbiage lands around it. Were you able to see my example?…it’s pretty clear what I’m asking about.

if you can recommend a suggestion on how to fix that issue, I’d be very grateful.
