Media Box Plugin

I just saw this website and love the use of the onclick media box (try it for the Jerry Seinfeld video and further down where it displays pictures and long narrative text for “Meet the Certified Teachers”):

I know this is a Joomla site, but does anyone know of a WordPress plugin that is responsive and will deliver the same onclick experience for all types of media (i.e. pictures, video, forms, narrative text)?

Thanks for your best suggestions! A plugin like this would help deliver tons of additional content to folks without them ever having to leave one single page on the site. That would be really valuable.
