• Just wondered whether anyone has been able to get Intergeo Maps working with the Evolve theme?

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/intergeo-maps/

The plug-in appears to function correctly from within the WordPress shell and I can create a map, however, when I publish a page with the short-code to the a map created, Evolve seems to produce a blank area on the page.

    Any ideas or advice?

    thanks,
    Shaun

    Thanks for the reply.

It shows a partial map in the mobile layout on an iPhone. But nothing on the iPad, Chrome or IE. The editor and Map creator works ok in the WordPress she’ll tho.

    Thanks

Thanks for the reply and looking into this for me. I can confirm that the map was created in the WordPress shell. I simply pasted the short code of the map into the post. If appears that the short code is invoked but the page is displayed as blank.

    The short code is:
    [intergeo id=”kjN”][/intergeo]

What I’ve found is that can “trick” the page into displaying the map in a particularly strange circumstance. I found that it is displayed when Internet Explorer incorrectly requests the mobile CSS view of the page as opposed to the standard desktop view. When displayed in IOS on the iphone 6 a static image of part of the map is shown and on the Ipad the page is blank just as-per the desktop site view.

Very strange! Any help would be much appreciated.

    thanks,
    Shaun
