Malware Error?

    I am receiving the following message when my site loads or I try to login to the admin?

    Warning: require_once(config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home3/wadyca0acka4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/index/index.php on line 10

    Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘config.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php71/lib/php’) in /home3/wadyca0acka4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/index/index.php on line 10
    The site is experiencing technical difficulties.

    @brooks48 Yes that looks like a problem due to malware. It’s trying to force your website to load /home3/wadyca0acka4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/index/index.php but it doesn’t seem to exist or be accessible anymore, so it throws that error.

    I would recommend checking out WordPress security plugins like Sucuri or Wordfence to assist in cleaning up the malware. You might also want to ask your web host.
