Thats super odd! Since it was fully audited / screened by yh WP Plugin review team as well as our own team.

Something may be happening thats odd here. Couly you relay their exact message including snippets or references to the files? Usually these complains include log snippets or technical informaton to back up the claim.

Also as a reference, please navigate to the atomic edge settings page and giv eme the plugin settings/version at the bottom.

    Thanks!

Malware message notice in Siteground cpanel:

Was odd as wordfence security then flagged an admin email with my work email address so deleted immediately.

Ok what was happening is your web hosting provider malware scanner was mistakenly flagging this plugin’s own malware signatures that were being used to scan, as actual malware.

What we’ve done is completely offload these malware signatures to be downloaded by our dashboard into the plugin, only in memory during a malware scan.

This will avoid the false positive. If you update the plugin to the latest version (v2.2.2 as of this writing), the issue should be resolved for you

Super this was sitegrounds reply: but it looks like the plugin support have made an update to avoid the site scanner: I was about to ask if this was the file Many IMAP servers (especially Gmail, Outlook, or Exchange) have strict limits on how long a folder can stay open or how long a session can last. If your poller takes too long to process a batch, the server kills the connection.

    Siteground message

I have attempted to activate the plugin through WP-CLI, however, no PHP error came up. The plugin simply remained inactive.

There are no errors logged in the php_errorlog file in the public_html folder nor in the wp-content/debug.log file.

I also attempted to run strace on the plugin activation process for the WordPress installation in the avbulldog subfolder, however, no specific error came up.

We have not applied changes to the PHP file itself from our end. Our system administrators simply excluded it from our internal malware scanner.

You could try to re-install the plugin or reach out to the support team of the plugin for further assistance.
