Making a forwarded domain standalone.

    I have a wordpress site that is a forwarded subdomain from a primary domain with my hosting company. I want to now have the site as a standalone domain and delete the primary domain but I’m unsure on what I need to do as if I delete the primary domain then obviously the site I want to keep will no longer work.

    Any ideas on how I could go about this?
