Hi there! I also have this query – I just have a simple ‘Enter name’ field that I would love to appear on the cart page on each product. Despite all the relevant options being turned on for this to happen it still doesn’t show up!
I would also love to find a solution for this! Can you help? I’d be ever so grateful!

I can’t edit the custom fields on the checkoutpage, it works fine on my cartpage.

@ferdil1 – Oh! You got it to work on the Cart page?! That’s exactly what I’m trying to do – but with no luck! Are you able to post your settings / software versions etc?

@sadrobot but i can’t edit it in cart page… You can see my settings in screenshots, and I am using last version of WordPress and the plugin… I don’t know if it is what you want to know.

Sorry – I meant @ferdil1 – they seem to have got it working on the cart page – which is what we also want!
@sarkparanjothi – I still don’t have it working, can u help me out? a client is waiting for me. I can’t edit the fields on the Checkoutpage.
@sadrobot – It already worked fine when I did the install, just not on the checkoutpage.

Has anyone managed to edit fields in the shopping cart? It is very rare that in the configuration allows you to choose this option but you can not. Any ideas? What could you try? I need this functionality and if this plugin does not allow me, I am thinking of using another one or doing it with code.

UPDATE:
This fix worked only once. Editing fields in the Cart does not work. There is a bug. Otherwise is a great plugin. I’m giving this a 4 due to the poor, non-specific, and unhelpful responses from the developer.
ORIGINAL MASSAGE:
I figured it out. You CAN NOT edit your existing fields. You have to DELETE EVERYTHING and recreate. When you recreate, you have to select editable at the time of creation or it won’t work.
1. Settings – Click Editable
2. Add Product Field – Click Editable on each new group that you create
3. Product Fields – Click Editable on each new field that you create
Editing DOES NOT work on existing fields that you have already created. You have to DELETE EVERYTHING and recreate.
Check you cart afterwards. Double-click the edit sign and wait a millisecond and the text box will open up. This part can be improved, but it works.
