major spam attacks

I have ‘bad behaviour’ plugin enabled and it’s stopping some spam but I’m getting loads of drug/sex/other spam getting through. I want to use the Akismet plugin but I can’t find my api key anywhere, it wasn’t on my welcome email and I can’t see it anywhere it’s supposed to be on my control panel/profile, is it possible to get it resent or generate a new one??
I’m spending more time removing spam than writing new blog entries 🙁
