MailList plugin question

hi all,

ive installed the MailList plugin (http://blue-anvil.com/archives/maillist-for-wordpress-a-mailing-list-mass-mailing-mailer-plugin) but I was wondering if anybody here knows how to change the following problem

once a visitor has entered his/her email in the subscription form the page then refreshes to go back to the main page

id like to either have it display a message (ie. you’ve succesfully registered) or just NOT go back to the main page

i have little knowledge of php so i dont really know what to change to get to this. perhaps someone here knows though!
