Mailchimp plugin Email sign up error message

Hello,

My client, melanierudnick.com, has a website that has been using the Mailchimp plugin to offer subscribers option to receive her blogposts via email since 2013.

I checked her list in Mailchimp and as of yesterday (4/13/14), she had new subscribers to her blog.

As of today, subscribers are receiving the following message:
» -99:Could not connect (ERR 110: Connection timed out)

When I log in to the WordPress dashboard and look at the settings in the Mailchimp plugin – there is a (new) warning message that states: Uh-oh, you don’t have any lists defined! Please visit MailChimp, login, and setup a list before using this tool!

Fact is, she/we have been using a list for several years but now the plugin won’t even offer the option to select a list in the plugin settings.

Can you please help me fix this issue?

Also, when I click on the Mailchimp plugin information from my WordPress site, I see a message that the plugin has not been tested with my version of WordPress. Could this be the issue?

Same here, suddenly got this error and when I looked at the settings, it says I don’t have any lists. But it was all perfectly fine working before. I haven’t touched anything, it just stopped working.

I thought I disconnect from my account and re-connect, but the login goes to a website that doesn’t load:

Please, I need urgently help with this.

I have a message about this issue directly from MailChimp tech support:

We have been experiencing an issue with our socialize-this domain that affects users working with the Social (https://wordpress.org/plugins/social/) and MailChimp Subscribe Form (https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp/) plugins for WordPress. This prevents users from connecting account and lists to their WordPress sites via these plugins. Our Development team is aware of and looking into resolving this issue as quickly as possible. Issues with the socialize-this domain have been resolved and users of this plugin should now be able to reconnect without any timeout errors.
