• I’m trying to set up a contact form with mail(2) enabled. The test emails I’ve sent work perfectly fine (they go where I’ve sent them) but the mail(2) auto-replies don’t. Both are “from” noreply@thehouseofmood.com. I’ve tried this from a couple of different email addresses, checked my spam filters, waited forever- no dice.

    I see this was a known bug this summer, but is supposed to be fixed now?

    This is not a known bug. I’m using CF7 on many sites without problems – I get dozens of emails every day from these sites.

    As CF7 has 5+ miilion active installs, you will usually see examples in this forum of other people having the same (or similar) problem as you most days – that doesn’t mean that CF7 has a bug.

    If Mail works, that confirms that CF7 is working correctly on your site – that’s good news.

    If Mail(2) doesn’t work, then something in your setup of Mail(2) is stopping that from working on your site.

    See If You Have Email Problems – most people that work carefully through this list of email sending issues are able to solve their particular problems.

    I’d recommend you focus on any differences between your Mail & Mail(2) setups – no matter how small.
