Lowdown on 1.5 Contributor Security

Greetings,

I’m going to invite a writer to contribute to my blog. Based upon 1.2 discussions, I got the impression a contributor could have what would amount to admin powers. If that isn’t true, forgive me, but if it is, is 1.5 secure. I’d hate to find myself no longer welcome at my site~ LOL.
