Lost password

I can’t remember my password, so I did the “email here for new password.” However, the email I received contained nothing but gobbly-gook:
“Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: BASE64″
and then a string of 54 letters and numbers that didn’t look like a regular password. (Not posting here for fear it really is a password.)
Is that some magic code that I’m supposed to deconstruct?
