Lost media

Hello,

I really hope somebody out there can help.

Yesterday I uploaded a ‘business directory’ plugin. Activated it, and attempted to figure it out. Within 30 minutes I noticed that my site (which is not yet live) was doing strange things.

I deactivated the plugin, and all was okay again. I activated and the problem was back. So I deactivated and binned the plugin.

Now, all my Media appears to have disappeared, and suddenly there are 20 Pages (related to directory) that I did not create.

How can I get my media back?

Most strangely of all, I asked my server to restore with a backup that I’d made just two hours before the problem occurred. They did that, but the problem persists.
