    Hi

I’m very new to this, so I apologize for my naivette. I just spent hours designing my portfolio on a local server and was trying to export my database.

I used MAMP (mac) to build a SQL database with phpmyadmin.

Following some terrible advice, I changed my site URL on wordpress and saved it. If I’m not mistaken, all my hard work has been saved to an address that does not exist, and I cannot fix the problem – change it back – because I can’t navigate to my local site.

I followed the advice here and dug through phpmyadmin to change the url back to localhost:8888/jakezuckerman in ‘home’ and ‘siteurl’ which is what it was before my change.

When I search for it now in my browser, I only get a blank page.

Do I need to start over? And if so can I salvage any of my old content?

I would really appreciate any help. Thanks for looking y’all
