Working on my WP based site/blog. A few features I’m concerned about adding.

I’d like to add small galleries to individual posts, akin to how kotaku.com (example http://kotaku.com/5053072/new-mega-man-9-screens-show-8+bit-goodness ) a lot of the gallery plugins are vague in their descriptions. http://www.d13design.co.uk/d13gallery/ Sounds like it will do what I want. Does anyone have any experience with this plugin? Does it work well?

I’m also looking for a possible widget or plugin to add popular post functionality, featured post functionality (most of these plugins look mediocre), and possible a WP-based forum if such a thing even exists. Any suggestions for those functions?

Then, probably, you will have to write your own excellent plugins.
The rest of us, we are very grateful to those guys who write the “mediocre” plugins for free…

It’s a complicated feature and these kind folk donate their time. I can appreciate that. I’ll take your response as a hardy “look else where”. Lets be realistic. If I have to design an entire site around a plugin, then as good as that plugin may be, we can’t yet call it perfect. I know we’re in a PC “no criticism” zone when you enter some forums. In others, it’s chaos. Neither method works, because you didn’t answer any of the questions… or even one question.

I am grateful, however I am also realistic. If I didn’t pour MY valuable time and efforts into a “almost complete” web site already, maybe I’d have considered a few of the various visual featured post plugins.

I’ll make sure in the future to not report bugs, not offer feedback, and not make feature suggestions, because I am so grateful. Thank you.
