  • When you say that the only user name and password that you have is the one you created when you uploaded WordPress to the server, are you refering to your site/database username and password, or have you already installed WP and generated one there?

Yes Im referring to your site/database username and password.
I have installed WP but I did not generate a username and password nor do I know how to go about doing so. I am novice when it comes to this but I want to learn and big my blog from the ground up.

The next thing you need to do is point your browser to http://yoursite.com/directory/wp-admin/install.php

Of course replace the url with the one to your site, including the directory if that’s where you have WordPress installed.

Can you please tell me or explain to me why I can’t logg into the admin panel to start building my blog? Curious to know if there’s something Im missing or didn’t do right.
    Thank you

Did you do the install as I mentioned in the previous post? If you did, and entered a valid email address, then WordPress would have sent you the login and password.

I have the same problem! I can’t access to WordPress to create/edit my new blog! During installation I receive and ‘admin’ user and password, but it doesn’t work now, and mySQL username and password to acces the SQL database (unique) that I have in may host for wordpress doesn’t work! HELP!!!!
