Login Page Fail

Yesterday I tried to sign on to WordPress as administrator using Internet Explorer 9 and entered my login and password as usual. When I pressed enter, the screen refreshed and the login blank retained my login name but the password blank was empty. But there was no error message. I tried this several times and then switched to Firefox and got the same results. I then put in a different password but received a message that it was not the correct password. So I followed the link for a new password and then changed it. Tried again in both browsers and would not work in either.

Came in to work today and tried the same here with the same results. I signed on just fine about 4 or 5 days ago and made no changes to anything except a countdown timer. What could have possibly happened? Any ideas to try? I can not sign on at all.
