LOGIN help please

I have had trouble logging into to wordpress. I totally deleted the program and reinstalled but the login still doesn’t work. Tried getting new login password and still nothing. When I enter login name and password, the blanks just go empty and do not proceed to the admin page. Can anyone offer any help???
