    the workforce logged me out and did not recognize me as a user. `how do regain access? we did site migration and all of a sudden wordfence blocked me out and I’m unable to login using old password. where to get the login details? TIA

    Hi @maddy528, thanks for your question.

    Wordfence doesn’t manage your WordPress users, but can be temporarily disabled by yourself or somebody with administrative access if you have 2FA credentials that aren’t working or have been lost/forgotten.

    Renaming your /wp-content/plugins/wordfence plugin folder to “wordfence_bak” in your hosting file manager or FTP and logging into your site using your username/password combination could be successful. Just make sure to name it back to “wordfence” again once you’re finished.

    If you still can’t sign in, this means your username or password may not match what you believe it to be, so you could select “Lost Your Password?” below the login form to change it via your email address.
