Live Type/Submit on shortcode search box

when a “View” has a Live Type, or even the submit option for Search Mode, min characters is set to 3. when you start typing, greater or equal to the min characters, it behaves as it should.

perhaps a solution would be when the number of typed characters drops below the threshold, to clear the results, and display no results.
