Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
That’s odd! Can you send us screenshots of your forms’ settings so we can review your configuration? Please also send a screenshot of the MailPoet > Lists page.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey @franciscapinheiro ,
Thanks for sending the screenshots. I reviewed them, and I see this is where the issue is: https://d.pr/i/DDbG6v
The same form adds the subscriber to several lists. To add a subscriber to one list only, you will need to create one form for each list such as:
Portuguese form –> Adds to Portuguese list
Spanish form –> Adds to Spanish list
And so on…
Can you make this adjustment and confirm the you achieve the expected result? Thanks!
Hi Gui!
In order to have different forms for different lists I’d to be able to set that form according with the language selected on the website, and I can’t do that.
I used the option List Selection so the user could choose their own list. I followed the steps you have on your website https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/297-create-a-subscription-form-with-our-editor#settings and it automatically added each list to the option “This form adds the subscribers to these lists”.
Did I do something wrong? I want them to be able to choose their own list.
Hey there!
I’m not sure if I understand what you mean here:
In order to have different forms for different lists I’d to be able to set that form according with the language selected on the website, and I can’t do that.
Here are the detailed steps you’d need to perform:
1. Create a list for each of your languages;
2. Create a form for each of your languages. Each form should be tied to its respective language list;
3. Add each form to your websites, so they show in their respective language; or use the List Selection block as you are currently doing.
4. In your site’s In MailPoet’s Settings > Sign-up Confirmation, update the content of the email to be in all languages;
5. Send newsletters or emails in a language to the corresponding list.
When reviewing the steps above, which one you can’t do? And why?
Hi Gui,
My translation plugin does not allow me to display different forms based on the selected language — it only translates the original content.
I managed to resolve the previous issue by removing all lists from the section “This form adds subscribers to”.
However, I am now facing an issue with the CAPTCHA. When I change the website language, the CAPTCHA image appears broken in all languages except the original one.
Hi there @franciscapinheiro,
I’m glad to hear you were able to resolve the previous issue by changing the form settings!
Regarding the Captcha issue you reported, would you mind sending over the URL to a page on your site with your sign-up form so we can see what you are referring to regarding the captcha image being broken? Please note that MailPoet doesn’t officially support compatibility with any multi-lingual plugins, however we can take a look to see what might be causing the issue.
