Links to Posts Not working

    After updating to WordPress 3.3.1, links to posts stopped working. When I create a post, publish it and then go to the front page of the site and click on the title of the post, it gives me a “page not found” instead of taking me to the post.

    This is now happening with posts that were created before updating as well. This is mostly problematic because we have auto-emails sent to users with links to the posts that are bringing up “page not found”.

    Have you tried refreshing the permalinks, basically just go to Settings > Permalinks and it will automatically refresh things and sometimes fix it.

    If not, I’d say either a plugin conflict or a theme conflict, so try disabling plugins and switching to the default theme.

    I had the same problem. You must set your premalinks to default.

    It’s disadvantage the search engines wont find your post tiltle in your url.
