LinkedIn issue

Hello!
I set up the plugin, created the LinkedIn API, copied the required information into the plugin, but when trying to login with a LinkedIn account, I get the “Oops! We ran into an issue.” screen.
It tells me that “Authentication failed. Either you have cancelled the authentication or LinkedIn refused the connection.”
And when I click on details it further says “Could not establish connection to provider API”
I checked and double checked that the info I copied from the API into the plugin is correct, and it is. I feel like I’m missing something in the API that’s not mentioned in the plugin, some field I have to fill in.
I further read on the plugin website and I tried adding my domain to the JavaScript API Domains field, as well as the redirect link mentioned here http://miled.github.io/wordpress-social-login/networks.html (changed to my domain name ofcourse) to the OAuth 2.0 Redirect URLs field, but neither of this helped in any way.
Any other ideas?
