I have a website, where people leaving comments, I want to know whether I can direct the comments to my mail Id rather, checking the comments by logging through the backend every now and then to check comments, I am new here can anyone help me please.
You can visit the Discussion page under the Settings section on the left hand side of your WordPress Dashboard. From there you can choose to be emailed whenever a visitor leaves a comment on your site.
