In the design, I designated greens as the link colors, but they are showing up as blue and purple. They actually worked for a couple days, but not anymore. When I go to the other pages, the green colors work.

Can someone please tell me what is going on?

  • Don’t paste content from Microsoft Word into WordPress as the pasted text will also contain Word’s own formatting. Sooner or later, this formatting will stop your pages from being displayed correctly (if at all) in some browsers.

You need to go back through all of your recent posts, paste your post content into NotePad (or another plain text editor) first, delete the post content in WordPress, then copy back from NotePad into WordPress. That should remove Word’s formatting.

Thank you! I will go through and see if that helps.

Does this ever happen because a blog is imported from blogger?

I actually don’t think I have ever copy and pasted from microsoft. Any other things it might be?

Only if the blogger content also contains material pasted from Word.

I suppose content pasted from Powerpoint, FrontPage or another MS product might cause the same problems. There were multiple occurances of class="MSoNormal" which is the hallmark of content pasted from Word or similar.
