LCP problem when generating Webp format on AMP

    Hey, I hope you doing good.

    When decoding images from .jpg, .png to .webp the plugin is taking more than 5 sec, contributing to Largest Contentful Paint.

    I have enabled separate cache for mobiles. Also, this (https://prnt.sc/su8arf) is the image that explains the activity of fetching image, converting it and placing it on amp version.

    Is the problem because of LS or AMPforWP?

    Tested via Pagespeedinsights.

    Hi,

    LSCWP doesn’t do webp decoding on the fly , so it must be other plugin which injected this.
