    1. Having several sites on one account supported by this plugin has led to the loss of all the created feeds due to the fact that they all loaded on each updated sites and upon deletion of the ones that do not belong to the particular site they are lost.

Now I am down to the audios task of recreating feeds that were in place for over 2 years and optimized so that they don’t replicate. THANKS.

2.You now don’t have a ‘post category’ option which means one has to do it manually. THANKS.

3.The feed management section keeps loading empty feeds. ..why..

    xxxhoop,

Please note that we emailed all GrabPress publishers prior to the 3.0.0 and 3.0.1 releases, to inform users that we would no longer be supporting the Autoposter feature. The information we sent to our registered publishers has also been posted to the support forums here for your reference:

    1. Note that if you were registered as a Grab Media publisher, then all your feeds were migrated to standard video feeds prior to the 3.0 release. All you have to do is link your 3.0+ GrabPress installation to your Grab Media account, and all your video feeds should be populated into the video feeds area.

If you inadvertently deleted your video feeds, then there isn’t much we can do to help you recover them. However, in GrabPress 3.0+, the feed creation process is much easier, due to the elimination of all the former Autoposter ‘post settings’ requirements. Therefore, setting up your video feeds should be much easier and quicker going forward, since all it requires is video search criteria (keywords, categories, content providers).

Though old versions of Autoposter/GrabPress already had features to prevent replication of video posts within the same video category (we allowed it if they were published to different WordPress categories), that should not be NOT be an issue in GrabPress 3.0+ going forward, since users are expected to manually select, edit and publish their video posts before they go live.

    2. Since we are no longer able to automatically post videos to your site remotely (Autoposter) in the newer versions GrabPress, there is no need to select a WordPress ‘post category’ anymore, since you will automatically be taken to the post editor when you select a video to post. Once you click the ‘create post’ button, you are taken to your post editor in your WordPress admin, where you select the post category in the right hand side of your UI.

    3. If the Video Feeds > Manage Feeds section of your GrabPress plugin is loading empty feeds, please send us your username and the URL for your site, and the feed names, so we can look into this for you. Without that information, we’re unable to research the issue you describe.

Thanks for using GrabPress. We hope that resolves items #1 and #2 above. We’ll wait for you to send us more information about #3 above (you can post it here, or send it to support@grab-media.com, and reference this support link in the email).

Having over 100 feeds loading on each site especially when the feeds do not have anything to do with that particular site, is no what i see as an efficient post creation process..it is good enough for one site but not 7 or eight or nine…publishers were sold to this plugin due to the fact that it auto posted…now with all the issues you say it had, knowing that some publishers had more than on site linked to one account, why did you not make sure that the feeds from each site where separated…creating a grab media account for each site will create even more issues.

Currently as of 12:53 pm EST 3/20/2015 the sites that i have checked that have updated to 3.01 like newsthrottle.com the videos are not loading, this is the reason why after you updated to 3.01 i reverted back to 2.37 because the vids stopped loading on the only site that i had updated to the new version after a few hours and it seems the issue still persists.

Please try upgrading to GrabPress 3.0.3, we fixed an issue on some older versions and instances of GrabPress that would prevent older video posts from rendering the player. Please let us know if you have any issues or questions after the upgrade to 3.0.3.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that the new version works well for you.

Sadly I am just learning about this after initially having 30+ sites linked, and the autopost feature was one of the great assets to using GrabPress.

Now I am expected to individually go through tens to hundreds of videos on each of my 30+ sites and post them manually? My God, this is ridiculous.

Time to uninstall and find a new provider.
