  • This is because you are using a two column layout and a sidebar. This limits the amount of space for the two columns and moved the photo above the post. If you turn off your sidebar you will have the photo on the left of your post.

Oh, understand, thank you. And how can I change width of post-thumbnail?

The wide is set by the layout your using for the posts. There isn’t an option to change it without editing the theme or using css to force the image smaller. Unless your talking about the blog page and your using the landscape post summary option. Can’t help with css unless you explain what your wanting and post a link to your site.

I would like to make post-thumbnail in the form of a long strip, increasing the width. Maybe 850px x 160 px. I think that then the image to fit on the left and next post-except would be under the previous.

ok so that layout isn’t really an option with the free theme if you use the latest post module in the theme options. The premium theme has options to change the two column to one but unfortunately not in the free without editing the code. (which you can do in a child theme)

You do have one option. You can make your front page the “latest post” in your settings > reading. Then the module called “page content” will become the blog loop, Then you would have 1 column of posts. It means that you can’t have the text though as you won’t have your static page content.
