Latest Plugin Update is Causing problems

    Hello,
    Since I have the latest Advanced Ad plugin update (from yesterday), my site keeps showing errors. It was causing problems with the Super Cache plugin. So I disabled the cache plugin only to realize the article wouldn’t display the content or sidebar. I tried testing the Advanced Ad plugin with other install plugins and the only way to get my site to work properly was to completely disable the Advanced ad plugin.

    Me too.
    After last update when you open an article the page shows an 500 Internal Server Error

    Thanks collare, I am already looking into it, but have nowhere to start because our sites are not affected. What I would need is an error message that might be found in debug.log or while having WP_DEBUG turned on.

    I would really appreciate if anyone could provide this to give me a hint, here or in support.

    I’m going to try to find time to get this to you today. I need this plugin fixed, I use it for all my in-content advertising. Never realized how dependent I was on it lol.

    Thank you. I reviewed the changes of version 1.7.12 line by line twice already, but seem to miss something. Based on the information that not everyone was hit, it is rather a special server setup or conflict with another plugin.

    Thank you, Mike.
    The second part has quite old dates, so there is probably nothing useful. Where did you get the other messages? Even if they are current, they don’t look like they could actually cause a critical error like this.

    Could you maybe contact your host about this? Maybe they have some more insights.

    The “WP_Widget deprecated” error is not caused by Advanced Ads. The theme is simply outdated.

    This one is up to the theme devs 🙂
