When selecting the German/French language from the language switcher from the default language(English) it will generate a 404. However if you first switch to the Dutch language and then switch to French or German it will correctly display the translations.

If you notice how the URL changes, when switching from English to German it will put the following in the URL : /de/product/
When switching from Dutch to German, it will use the following instead : /de/produkt/

This wasn’t always the case, I imagine it happened after an update and was noticed later on. But how can these links be adjusted so it uses the correct URL when switching from English to German/French?

  • Friend, I have a big problem.

I installed the free version here, and now I can no longer access wp-admin. It is pulling the com.br/br subfolder.

I’ve already disabled WPS Login, deleted its plugin and nothing…

I only have access to FTP and I need to access my admin to be able to do what I saw in the other topics to get my website back to normal.

    I URGENTLY need this solution.

What do I do via FTP to access my website…

    Hello there,

    Thank you for reaching us!

Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first/next recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

Briefly disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty One theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

If this won’t solve the problem,I recommend opening a ticket here :https://translatepress.com/support/ask-a-presale-question/ for further investigations and mention our discussion from here.

    Kind Regards,
