I have the exact same problem with english words mixing with my native language …
i got the same problem: Eventos for Junio…
Hi!
I also have the same problem in spanish. The only word that is translated is “evento”, the others are in English. For example: previuos
Eventos, Upcoming eventos, or Eventos From.
Same problem here… thanks for checking.
Same here, all the german is mixed up.
There IS a solution – well it helped me at least 🙂
- I joined the translationteam on translations.theeventscalendar.com
- I the finished translating the danish version to 100% and awaited acceptance of the submitted
- I exported the po and mo files
- made a backup (renamed them) of the current languagefiles
- Renamed the two new files to tribe-events-calendar-da_DK
- and uploaded the files
- Voila – it now works
does anyone tryied it with the spanish one?
I can see that the spanish version/translation is 85% complete so you could do as I did Julio 8^)
You will find it here
Hi, i clicked in “Untranslated” and i got “No translations were found!”
I can see lot of yellow coloured sentences that means “waiting”
so maybe someone translated it before and we have to wait
You are right 🙂 If you click on filter and tick “awaits approval” you get this list
So check the status again tomorrow or the day after and you might be in luck – since it is the free version patience IS a virtue 🙂
so we will see soon if it works, thank you onolux 🙂
Hi
It works as you said! Thank you onolux 🙂
Thanks for sharing the solution onolux. That is exactly what I would have recommended.
To reiterate, the issue is that the translation in y’alls language is not complete. We need a volunteer translator to translate any remaining strings, then it will all be well. If you’re interested, join translations.theeventscalendar.com like onolux said.
Cheers!

Hi Brook
Is it possible to to produce a set of screenshots of the english version with examples on the use of the translated bits?
The reason I ask is that capitalising is a very common problem in translating these ‘snippets’ of text. After translating to the new version I will of course find a lot of places where the translation is correct but the capitalising isn’t. So I have to re-correct it once again and since it is a pretty cumbersome proces the chances will be that it more or less permanently will be a ‘half-baked’ product. Now and in future versions.
Best OnoLux
Hi!
I continue with the problem … 🙂
Julio could you pass me the .mo and .po?
Thank You!!
