try the bad behavior or especially the cookies for comments plugin
I believe that auto commenters can target your comments template file directly to get comments in. I use cookies for comments and get almost 0 auto comments.
It’s an indirect solution, but may help

I have a couple of sites where I have anything to do with comments turned off. I don’t use post only pages on these sites. Even though I have deselected everything, I still get comments. Can’t figure out why? Any thoughts?
