Just for updates?

Hey. I use wordpress on my site and it’s controlling my entire site!! Now I have another site, but for reasons I don’t want it to be controlled by wordpress. So for this new one I just want it on my index page just for updates.

Coding is a bit different (I’m coding using dynamic inclusions), and since I’m use to having wordpress run my site it’s the only way I know how to use it. But for this I don’t have any header nor footer files so do I just upload my index and main page to wp?

Sorry I know this is probably so simple …. but I have no clue.
