js and json in wordpress

    Hello forum.

    I am currently trying to integrate an interactive map using with Leaflet and OpenStreetMap inside my custom WordPress template.

    I got help through this tutorial.

    I have implemented the elements as in the tutorial and I made sure that the files have the correct rights, user and groups on my Linux server.

    The problem is that when i run the page i get the following error message:

    Resource interpreted as Script but transferred with MIME type text/html: “http://178.62.100.16/maps/markers.json/”. ?page_id=4:188
    Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token < 178.62.100.16/:1
    Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <

    I hope that some one is able to provide me with a hint of what is the issue.
