jQuery(…).on is not a function

The plug stop working after the update to 1.5.9
the firebug’s message is :

TypeError: jQuery(...).on is not a function
	}, '.collapseomatic'); //pass the element as an argument to .on

on line 299.
The used template is not recent and it use old version of jQUery
