"Job Board" page

This is a very nice plugin!

I have a few comments/questions:

1) After I publish a new Job (example: “driver”), when I view on front end the URL is “example.com/jobs/driver/” and breadcrumb is “Home>Job Board>Driver”. Is the plugin adding “jobs” to the URL and “Job Board” to the breadcrumb for temporary display only? I do not see a page, post or category created.
2) Next, if I click breadcrumb menu item “Job Board”, it stays on current page.
3) Next, I created a page named “Job Board” with slug named “jobs” and inserted [jobpost] shortcode.
4) When I click on breadcrumb item, same behavior as step 2 above. I also created a post instead of a page in step 3, but behavior was same.

Am I doing something wrong?

We have tested Simple Job Board plugin with breadcrumbs as there is no problem at our side.Everything is working fine.Our plugin only adds “jobs” to the URL but not in the breadcrumbs.
Please check your website breadcrumbs settings.If you are unable to resolve issue at your end then please share your site URL and credential with us.

PressTigers I’m sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then PressTigers may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

Thank you for the response.

It would be very helpful if you guys would publish a very simple demo site with 2 or 3 jobs and a few job categories so people can see how the plugin works regarding URLs, breadcrumbs and other usability issues.

I think this would clear up any confusion regarding functionality.

Otherwise, I don’t know if I’m reporting a bug or if the plugin is working as designed and I should be requesting a new feature.

Again, I think you have created a great plugin that is simple to use and not too much bloat, but I’m spending too much time troubleshooting. I have already checked breadcrumb settings, disabled other plugins, tested other themes, etc.

For now, I cannot provide a link because I am testing an alternative, but as soon as possible I will send an example. Also, I will be happy to be a beta tester, just let me know.
