JetPack Site Stats Question

I have set up a new WP site. I’m curious as to whether the statistics reported by the JetPack stats plug-in (visitors, etc.) include my own site accesses as I have been building and checking pages. Or does JetPack exclude visits to my site that come from within my site (if that makes sense), counting only those visits from outside my site.
