jetpack issue with openshift

    hi guys

    Im going nuts with Jetpack, as it can’t work with a wordpress installed on openshift.

    Every goes fine during the installation process, however after having registered to wordpress.com and activated some of the jetpack features: it does not work.

    I then clicked on the “Debug” link in the wp-admin/jetpack panel and here is the output:

    It looks like your site can not communicate properly with Jetpack.
    SELF:
    Operation timed out after 30000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

    What do I need to do to make that work ???

    Please, help …

    Addendum: I did try all of the proposed workarounds on the Jetpack page, including the https thing and the like. None of them did work.
